I have D0 stepping. It seems this thing runs 3.8Ghz on stock voltage.

Well my problem definitely seems to be that the mobo doesn't like OCing 6 dimms. The RAM all checks out fine, and booting with 3gb of either set is no problem.
Also, booting with 6 dimm at stock speeds is stable. It's just when I try to get 6 sticks to boot w/ OC, I fail at C1 code and get beeping. I tried bumping the QPI PLL incrementally all the way to 1.5, but no avail. I also use LLC. It does help to a stabilize an overclock.

I think I have the golden chip.
