Error creating VDPAU device: 25


Not a problem in your code, but a bug in the driver.
I can't use vdpau in my laptop since ages.
On the bright side, I'm not experiencing powermizer problems, which I think its better than not having vdpau.

The information comes from the various query functions that VDPAU implements; vdpinfo is simply reporting whatever the driver returns.

The level values are the design targets for the HW (roughly corresponding to HD-DVD and Blu-Ray). However, the HW can handle, in some cases, clips which don't conform to the design targets (e.g. H.264 greater than level 4.1 in terms of size of reference frame data for example)
