Well finally got my replacement card after UPS tried to deliver it 20 doors up from mine. Apparently they have no means of checking postcodes from their vans. UPS...GPS...one letter short I guess.

9800GTX+

So, not a GTX260, but still pulls out about 3000 points more in 3dmark06 than the 8800GTX. And it works, which is the all important part.
Ah, every thing's back to normal. Time to get cracking in Fallout3 and Farcry 2 again

Damn... you got a good deal. They sent me a 9800 GTX+, which, in all fairness, is an upgrade in nearly all respects. However, once you start adding AA in higher resolutions, it starts losing its appeal. It's a nice card though. Runs hell of alot cooler.

Enjoy that GTX 260.

Yeah I got a 9800GTX+ as well.....I should have whined about the frame buffer being smaller.....maybe I'd have got a 260 as well.

Regardless.....EVGA FTMFW.......
