Hi all,
My 7600GT card doesnt support Xv controls for brightness and contrast. I am using the 180.29 driver. Is this a limitation of the card or is this a driver issue? Cheers |

Can you generate an "nvidia-bug-report" (see sticky) and post it; that might help track this down. Thanks.

I familiarized myself better with our Xv support, and it looks like this is simply a limitation of your video card. You need one of the following Xv adaptors advertised to get brightness/contrast controls: "NV10 Video Overlay" or "NV17 Video Overlay", and neither of those are supported on your card. Sorry.

It is a shame that such a good card doesnt have xv controls. But thanks for clearing this up.
