Thumbs up Re: Ghostbuster PC vs. Console

That is good if they do a good job for all platform and. Here they have said that PS3 is the lead platform
http://www.psu.com/PS3-leads-the-way...a006207-p0.php

Quote:
“The PS3 is a more demanding system to develop on and it is what the Infernal Engine was designed to exploit from the ground up. With the multiple SPU’s it has onboard a solid multithreaded engine design can really take advantage of that and give you some amazing results.”

Actually they have said from the beginning that the PS3 is the lead platform since A) It's a Sony IP and B) The PS3 has the hardest architecture so its easier to port from rather then to.

Yea Terminal Reality + Atari... Should be interesting

I'm quite interested to see what they can pull off. It sounds like the game will be able to scale to an 8 core box and use SLI. If the scaling works well you'll be able to use everything your pc has to run the game with the highest IQ.

I just hope they keep away from Steam, GFWL, Gamespy, etc. I really don't want to have to install 100 extra programs and sign in every time I want to play the game.

My only real issue with the game was that at times it became a bit repetitious to constantly run through an environment looking for a ghost, then to chase the ghost, battle the ghost and his minions, and the inevitable boss battle.
