That screen is from Butcher Bay. It looks like they redid some effects but the models are the same.

Some of it looks amazing and some of it looks like the old game it is... Sadly I don't want to boot up Athena until I finish Butcher Bay, so... I don't know if it looks better or not.

Same here even it looks last gen and Magus WTF is up with you. start talking about graffics lately as you dident before. can it be since you finaly saw the light and started Pc gaming again so what next, you gonna start biatching like the rest of us how the dhsk2123 ****if9989 consolas drags down Pc gaming ? LOL

I never stopped PC Gaming... I just went back to desktops recently. Always played games on my Laptop...

As for different talk... there is not difference. I was commenting on how Butcher Bay looks almost the same as the original version even though starbreeze claimed to bump up its engine.

Never said it looks bad, I think it looks great still, Tons of style to the game... just don't think its worth rebuying if Athena is as bad as reviews say it is.

Pretty big if, in my opinion. Reviewers panned Starbreeze's The Darkness as well, and that was one of my favorite games that year.

Also, by reviewers you mostly mean IGN, as few others are out or as negative, and IGN in this case means Hillary Goldstein, who is easily the worst reviewer on the entire Internet.

The thing is one of the biggest gripes I hear is that most of the enemies in Athena are Robot Drones. Human opponents are rare... which is just not what I wanted... I wanted to sneak up and knife someone... not fight robots...
