Default 185.13 slow suspend to RAM wake up

hardware:
HP Pavilion dv5000
CPU: Dual Core T2500,
video card: nVidia 7400
kernel: 2.6.29-rc8-git4, 2.6.28.8
driver 185.13
distro: Arch Linux (current)

in contrast to the previous drivers, 185.13 requires a long time to susped to RAM, wake up and also to log off/shutdown
going back to 180.37 restored former behavior and all the above operations are instant.

This is not a bug but definitely a problem with the latest beta driver.

Default Re: 185.13 slow suspend to RAM wake up

Yes, I deinitely experience the same:

Mobo: ASUS P5N7A-VM
CPU: E7300
video card: onboard nvidia 9300
kernel: 2.6.27-11, 2.6.27-12
driver 185.13
distro: Ubuntu Intrepid

So resume and shutdown is very slow.
It's even 30 seconds, while the 180.xx series providing 2 seconds resume time.
