Hi,
I am trying to get my new macbook air with 9400M gfx to work with the 2560x1600 dell 3007WFP display. It work perfectly in OSX, but I can only get 1280x800 in Ubuntu 8.10. Any ideas of a magical setting or similar? I played around a bit with manually entering the modeline etc, but as you can see, it fails with "Unable to construct hardware-specific mode timings". Naturally, I can try updating to the most recent nvidia driver, but I could not find anything in the changelogs related to this type of issue. Cheers, cputoaster |

Thank you for your quick response. I am using the official Apple dual-link mini-DP to DVI adapter. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB571, which works fine with OSX. I*will try the newer driver as soon as possible.

Hi again,
I just updated the driver, and everything seems to work fine now. Sorry for the inconvenience, you might want to put a note into the changelogs... Thx a lot, Andres |
