WTF!!!!!

Any way to bypass steam? someones using my key!

Um you should not need to by pass steam, just change your steam password and it should boot whoever is using your account since only 1 person can be logged in at any given time. I think even the retail product uses steam...

tried that but no still says key in use. its a second hand purchase so i expected this to happen. what do i do??

Because the game when you install it registers with your steam account so you cannot trade it in. If you bought it used then you wouldn't even be able to install it.

Ah right i see what you mean. thing is someone did trade it and ive bought it. what do i do??

Can i bypass steam? i can provide pics if you dont believe ive got an official copy no problem.

Nope - he should've never sold it. Broke the TOS. Once it's installed and registered its in their steam account.

Contact him for a refund.

funny thing is there is a lot of these and l4d on ebay being sold as used.
