vdpau and 2560x1600 ?
Hello,
I have an ASUS EN9600GT Silent 512MB which works fine with my Dell 24" (1920x1200) using compiz. Dell has a really attractive offer for the 30" (2560x1600) : will VDPAU works with this resolution and is my card enough for it ? Thank you very much :-) |

Output at this resolution will work just fine. Decoding videos of this resolution won't.

Oh thanks, I am mostly interested in decoding DVB-S2 channels using xine (and upscaling it to 2560x1600) so if I understand right, it sould be fine (even with only 512Mb of ram on the gfx card) ?

I just received it and it works really well : nvidia's vdpau and 2560x1600 and compiz are tremendous !!!
