Default RH9, FX5200 P4 audio and network problems

I have just set up a new computer with the following:
Main board ASUS P4P deluxe, CPU: P4 2.4 GHz/800 and a GeForce FX5200 and dual boot with GRUB for WIN XP and RH9.
The RH9 kernel is 2.4.20-8.

After some initial problems with the video card I succeeded in having the screen to work, thanks for info in these forums.

I have not yet succeded in having the audio nor the network card on the main board to work.

I tried to patch the kernel with the supplied patch file on the nvidia site with no luck.

I have followed the instructions in the README file closely also with no luck. I have also downloaded the latest kernel from kernel.org and installed and compiled it and merged the nvidia files into it with no luck.

Has anybody succeeded in having the fx 5200 card work with RH9 on a i386 kernel?

Please help me then

Regards

Ebbe

Ok but is this related to this forum?
The audio and network on this board are not nvidia, or do I have a wrong picture of this board?
Normally with a recent kernel the audio and network should be no problem.
What is the problem with the fx 5200?
