Who's going to tell the silly Chinese that luck doesn't exist and that everything happens as a result of a chain of events. Oh man will they be disappointed after purchasing this hard drive.

808800000000 bytes divided by 1024, not once, not twice, but thrice (KB, MB, GB).

Gives us 753.25 gigabytes.
About time they actually made a true 750GB hard drive

/me thinks the Chinese number 8 theory is correct...

Give them a break. They've lasted over 3,000 years believing in luck. And now they name an HDD "808.8". I bet after 8,000 years they still believe in luck. Why not?

Its just a marketing thing for a dual 500Gb platter drive. Pretty sad that you're losing 191.2Gb for a lucky number though...
Think I read that they´re using these disks as a dumping ground for damaged platters.
So these drives use platters that cant use their full 500Gb capacity.
