I'd just like to add that Age of Conan does *not* support DirectX 10 in spite of what the box says. Funcom says it will show an early preview in August with no actual delivery date set.
Many folks like me that invested in the necessary hardware are not happy. http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=43760 (Not sure if you have to register) |

There seems to be a lack of Direct X 10 games coming out of late. GTA IV, Call of Duty: World at War, Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead.... the list goes on are all Direct X 9 titles, so whats going on?
BTW where is Alan Wake should that have come out a year or so back?

Tom Clancy's Hawx looks awesome in DirectX 10. Will post in game Demo picks as soon as I get my hands on it.

...yeeeeaaaah, okay. We'll get right on that.
Anyway. Demigod appears to be a DX10 title, and it's pretty...not jaw-droppingly "OMFG!" gorgeous, but pretty...

Just looked at the first page from 2006...lol.....
Eve, UT3 and Conan still don't have DX10. Conan does on it's test server, but it's just now appearing. Alan Wake...that fell off the face of the earth.... DX10 looks nice when it's in, but IMHO, it's a total failure. |

DX10 is a come-on by Microsoft. They probably have deals with hardware vendors to force people to buy new hardware and to buy windows vista/7.
