Default icemat with Razer copperhead vs G5

So, I know this is kind of an old school setup. But my Razer Copperhead died a while ago and I want to replace it. I also need to get a new mousepad soon as well. I'm looking at the issue of a Copperhead Vs a G5 and how good they perform on an icemat.

I really have my eyes set on these 3 things, if there's any other comparable mouse pad though that anyone knows of I'd definetly consider it.

and as far as mice go... I love the copperhead from razer, and as far as i've seen the new designs are absolute trash as far as comfort so that'st he only razer one i'm considering... and the Logitech... well My options are pretty open with them. but the G5 still seems like a big win

I'm using the Icemat. IMO the best mouse pad i've owned by a long shot. I had the Razor, but changed to the G5 and prefer it. Just my own choice.
The G5 and Icemat are a match made in heaven. So smoooooooth

Thanks for the replies... It looks like I mgiht be replacing my old copperhead, but they're very hard to find these days. I'm looking for the Chaos green one and it looks like almost no places have them in stock. Wish me luck.

I've used the G7 in the past and currently have the G5. Can't say anything bad about either one.

I've been looking for a pad for my G5, as I've just been using the top of my desk. I'll look into the Icemat.

You won't regret it. It is a pretty sweet mouse pad.

I just changed from a G5/Qpad to G9 and a Razer Exactmat and IMO the best setup I have ever lay my hands on

The G5 allways felt a little to bulky for my taste but the G9 feels just perfect and the exactmat is so good it blows away the QPAD by far!

Good luck to what you diceded for!

I placed an order Monday night.... Razer Copperhead and the Razer Lycosa keyboard.... I figured I'd give it a chance.... no, i'm not usually a razer fanboy but the keyboard really looked interesting. I also have a black icemat on the way.... should all be in friday. I'll have some pics for the setup when I get it in. !

<-Razer fanboy.

I have a Copperhead and it's probably the best mouse Razer has to offer. The Lachesis has tracking issues.

I've never used an icemat before, but I know that eXactmat's are excellent.

I ended up getting the Lycosa, Copperhead, and a Steelseries I-2 (icemat 2?) anyway... it's a really nice setup for those of you wondering.... and wolfhound was right, this mouse and pad go amazing together, not only do they look sexy but they feel amazing and perform exactly the way i want it to.
