Default Dual monitor problems with Quadro NVS 295 displayport

I just got a new computer with an nvidia NVS 295 card which has two displayport outputs. I have two monitors with DVI inputs which I connected using 2 displayport -> dvi dongles. One of the monitors works perfectly, but the second doesn't display anything. I looked around, and one post suggested adding the "ConnectedMonitor" option to xorg.conf and setting it to "DFP,DFP", which I did, but this didn't seem to help at all.

I was wondering if the current nvidia driver supported connecting two monitors using 2 displayports? Or is there something else I am doing incorrectly?

I am running ubuntu 9.04, 64 bit, with nvidia driver 180.44

Thanks for your help...
