why would pirate force xp mode on home premium, when they will pirate ultimate version to start with.

Hey folks, I was working on some functionality testing with the Windows 7 virtualization feature, could anyone recomend a good application to test? I'm having a hard time finding an application that will run in XP only.

Thanks in advanced

Thanks for the suggestion but I need an application not a game.

i don't think xp mode will be able to run xp only games, i.e. scarface because of no 3d support.

OMG, if ONLY virtualization had 3D and DX9 support . . . . That would be quite a dream come true for me.

I guess I was misunderstood. Hackers will find a way to make the XP virtualization on ALL platforms, not just home premium. They will put XP virtual on 7 Home Premium...just cause they can. But you are right, I didn't think about them pirating Ultimate version, which would let virtualization run anyway.

Try VMware Workstation?

It doesn't support FULL DX9 support. For example, I can't have a WinXP VM on my gaming rig and run CSS or Left 4 Dead on it.

Also, I hate VMWare (minus ESX). It's so freakin SLOW. VirtualBox FTW.
