I use AVG free on XP, but i hear that 64bit has trouble with a lot of aintivirus software. Any suggestions?

I've had zero trouble with Antivir 9 on win 7 64 bit so far. Just a guess, I would say most of what worked on Vista should work, or have workable updates soon, for win 7.

Ditto on Avira AntiVir (free version) under 7/x64. Supposedly NOD32 4.0 works wonderfully under it too, but I haven't tried it.

Just installed AVG free edition. too early to tell.
I read today that Norton is having a public RC for their Win7 supporting version. I think its available today.

Been using AVG Internet Security, which I basically got for free after rebates, and it works well with Win 7 x64.

most have to be updated for win7, in later builds 7077+ they changed how AV software reports to OS.
