Ultimate, I get as many licenses as I need for home use so I am going to put it on both my primary systems at home. Will likely get Enterprise for my notebook as I use it for work.

I won't be moving to 7.

I like it, runs fine and looks pretty, but so does Vista SP2. Until I see some better performance benefits I just can't live without, no reason to lay down the cash for it.

I'll probably get Ultimate just to avoid the activation limit. I just hit my Vista one and man was that a hassle to get MS to fix it.

Wait. Wait Wait. Are you saying Ultimate can go on more than one PC you own for home use?!

Home Premium 64 with a new HDD, new DVD burner, and possibly an internal card reader.

I'm betting it's through some sort of technet/msdn subscription. I can install Vista Ultimate on as many machines as I want with the same key (as long as it's for "home" use) with my technet subscription (which is now expired....probably going to renew when win7 comes out to get it.

Yes, from my MSDN key I should technically be able to run 4-5 systems at least

I am using the same key for 2 Win 7 RC systems right now. No issues upon registration. Both systems also use the same key for Office 2007 Ultimate.

-edit- I should clarify. If you have a technet or MSDN subscription, you can use any license for more than 1 system if it is for Home use. Sometimes you may get pinged, but a short phone call and you're fine, as long as it is legit

might as well get a technet subscription. You get MS office with it as well, so just get it when the new version of office comes out.
