In vista and every recent windows, you could single click on program in taskbar and it would minimize it.

In win7, for example if you have 2+ tabs in IE, single click minimize on taskbar doesn't work anymore.
I like the new task bar much better because if you have... let's say firefox open and minimized, running xp and you're looking at a site you don't want others to know about and you don't hide your task bar, the first few words that fit will show. Happened to me at least once at work... and no it wasn't porn The win7 task bar requires a mouse over and that's still now enough.

If you're at work and they can't see the title of the webpage, then you probably shouldn't be on that site.

another issue, win7 RC keeps forgetting my brightness settings when on AC power.

Should be half way on battery, and full on AC power. after every reboot it forgets.
