Can't install Windows 7 RC on laptop

Trying to install Windows 7 RC on my laptop and it continues to fail. It gets to expanding windows file and reboots when it hits 21% then shows an error (cannot find iastor.sys) upon boot up.

Anyone have any ideas? This week really isn't going well for me.

Should add that I know this ISO is good since I used it to install windows 7 on my desktop.

I think iastor.sys is Intel RAID driver, Windows 7 cant find it probably because you didnt loaded the driver before running the setup.

When I burnt 7000, I had major issues with Nero not burning the image correctly. I made about 3 coasters before I used IMGBURN, which produced a flawless copy. I didn't know I had made the coasters until errors during the install.

i had that happen to me and had to extract the ISO onto a different media to get it to work. it was on a CD and i moved it over to a thumbdrive and it worked fine for me. it was a screwy stupid thing, but i got it working.

Have you checked the md5 of the file?

To add to this, turn of AHCI in your BIOS, or set it to legacy if possible. Otherwise it means you need to find drivers for the Intel Matrix Storage adapter.

I got it to install by uninstalling the intel driver and using the microsoft default... I don't use RAID on my laptop.
