Some MS Employee had screenshot of his desktop and one of the folder was called Windows 7 7130 Escrow RTM. RTM can be reached as soon as July, and of course MS won't release it till OEM gets it and test it first. I think there will be month delays for manufactures to get their drivers. MS wont make Vista mistake.

You should be able to just upgrade, I've done several upgrades. Starting with 7057, I upgraded to 7068, 7077, 7100 RC, and now 7127 all based on that original 7057 install. Generally I haven't done upgrades in the past, but with the speed that Windows 7 releases are coming out, and my preference for it over Vista, it was becoming a pain to do a fresh install every time.

Power Management for the most configurations is broken. Windows 7 locks after waking up.

Yeah I have had this issue with my laptop. I put it to sleep and it wont restore, would have to hard reboot the pc.

i still have LCD brithness issues on my laptop, Win7 keeps forgetting that I want medium brightness on battery, and full on AC Power.

first post of 2 - laptop users.. have you tired turning off power management in the device manager to maybe help you sleep/wake problem?
