Question bogus mouse-pointer since (at least) 180.44

Hi.

This may have been introduced in previous versions, but I stepped over some of them:
Currently I'm using 180.44 from Debian unstable with a 9600GT based board (Asus, silent version).
I use two screens on the card, but not as Xinerama or TwinView, but separate X screens.

What happens now is:
Whenever I move the pointer between the "border" of the two screens a stale "copy" of the pointer remains on the screen that I've just left, on the position where I crossed the border.
It's usually a little bit before the actual border (the faster I move, the more the distance).

The mouse pointer on the new screen (where I moved it to) works just fine.

Any ideas?

Chris.

This is a known bug in the X server.

I don't know if there is one. There's a patch, though: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archive...ay/045515.html
