Default 180.60 Problems with Forced Anti-Aliasing

Fedora 10 x86_64, Nvidia 180.60, Geforce 9800GTX+

I noticed Forced Anti-Aliasing as well as Anisotropic Filtering do not apply anymore to applications such as games running in wine and some native linux games. Games based on the Blender Engine don't work at all with 180.60 here. For some reason I have to start the NVIDIA X Server Settings Tool once in every session before I start any openGL application to make the forced settings work, it's really weird I just have to open and close the settings tool to get the settings work.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks in Advance
