Default Setting larger resolution.

I have an HP G60-244dx, it has an nvidia geforce 8200M G and i'm using Kubuntu 9.04.

Im using the 180.44 driver because i couldn't get the one the nvidia site 185.18.14 says I should use wouldn't install correctly.

The max resolution I can set is 1366x768, but I googled around and found out the geforce supports a much larger resolution.

How can I force a larger resolution?

1366 x 768 ( WXGA ) is the maximum resolution of the lcd screen on your laptop. If you want higher res's you will have to use an external monitor. The graphics card can only display what the lcd panel is capable of.
