ubuntu 9.02 + 185.18.14 driver instability

hello guys

there is a problem either in kernel 2.6.28-11 either in nvidia driver

the problem is that screen flickers a bit (but i notice it every time) when powerMizer increases to 475 MHz (i mean during the transition to or from 475 MHz), which is the maximum frequency of my 8600m gt card

i'll try NVIDIA binary Xorg driver from ubuntu package repository..

hope solve the problem.. i usually use the drivers from nvidia site.
