Yea i here ya.. fsx does not see any improvement, except my autogen slider is almost maxed.

I've been up to 4.1GHz 1.4v on air and haven't tried for more.

I've got an old 920, not the latest stepping.

I may toy around with it a bit more. I haven't spent a lot of time going for max.

Well after many ,many overclocking and settings ,fsx and cysis warhead.
I think i found my settings.

That's awesome! I didn't really want to get an i7 because of the cost and the heat, but now I'm considering it! haha

Heat is far from an issue with the I7's i've used. In fact they are a lot cooler than any Core2 Quad I have used in the past.

My D0 920 hit 4.0ghz without touching anything but the bus speed and passed 24 hours of 3dmark and prime 95 running simultaneously

Higher than that = no benchmark improvements...well.. not enough to merit hours of extra tweaking that I would inevitability have to do.
