Well I do.... and I'd called them up and asked when the first one was being announced and they'd told me that the player had to be constantly connected to their server to play it. That's what they told me around Feb....

If it's not the case anymore, fantastic. I remember seeing that they were going to be available (via digital means only) when the announcements were first made. "not the case anymore" - splendid.

Like I said: I'm giving away my current copy and grabbing the GOTE at some point... will probably sometime late 2010 after Bethesda has fixed all the bugs.

Lol... they still haven't fixed the retarded movement bug where the player doesn't always instantly stop moving upon releasing a movement key.

I'm not suprised... it took them a patch to allow the player to properly remap a key or two.

Notice how half the time when you let go of the movement key... you'll still take an extra step.

It's super stupid. I'm praying by the time the GOTE comes out, they'll have that rectified.
There are zero excuses for such a lame bug.

ESIII/IV don't perform that way!
and neither do most other similar games

Some games do that on purpose to simulate realworld movement, but one can always tell when it's on purpose vs. being a bloody bug.

Fixed most of my crashing issues, it was some ini tweaks I made. Still crash often but it isn't nearly as bad now.

The first night I installed this game... I ran into the stupid Memory Leaks it has with my driver set. I pushed forward with the retarded frame rate issues anyways for about an hour just to see what the world had to offer/look like compared to ESIII/IV.

Past that though, I haven't done anything with it short of try ALL four patches to no avail with 10-15 mins of testing/ea.

I don't understand how SO many people have continued to play a game that "crashes often" and/or has other serious problems.

I'd expect so much from console sheep, but not from PC Gamers!
