Is IE the only browser that supports the Windows 7 taskbar fully? Would be nice if Chrome did.

You know I mean? You mouse over and it shows a preview of ALL tabs, not just the currently selected tab.

Yeah. I have all three on my PC with Win 7 (64 bit), but I use Chrome 98% of the time. I don't run into issues often at all.

It would be nice if Chrome used the Win7 taskbar for multiple tabs. That would be a nice addition. If you separate the tabs out into their own window, it works, but that's the only way...

I guess it will just be a matter of time, until then IE8 is going well. I do miss the full integration you miss with the other browsers.

it doesn't bother me on my laptops. my laptop here at work has a 22" lcd hooked up to it so the dock and start bar are on the other screen and I don't use the dock on my laptop at home simply becuase I really don't use it for much more than dicking around on the internet while whatching TV.

It's my Vista desktop machine that has the annoyance.

I think it's just IE at the moment that splits up like it does. For Chrome and Opera, when I do a mouse-over event, it just shows me multiple items if I have multiple windows open.

Note that on Win 7, x32, Chrome from my taskbar does not generate a new icon when I am using it and open a window. In x64, it does.

Opera and IE maintain their docked appearance and don't generate a new "application open" icon.

I like to keep a link to my hard drives and my Recycling Bin in the dock. My desktop has nothing on it.
