Is a deferred shading engine - there is a interview in a german magazine about this topic - , and I think that the lighting and shadows system is fully dinamic - but without SSAO o volumetric light - . There is some very nice textures , perphas are not with high resolution . Maybe the most ugly is the agressive LOD , the reason of the incredible perfomance , plus the deferred shading and the lack of AA . The game has a selective AA blur for the edges.

I took a couple of screenshots as I was playing. The gameplay pulls you in and the high frame rates really make the most of this graphics engine. Screenshots don't really do it justice compared to actually playing the game though.

I disliked that. I didn't mind that they broke and stuff... they just broke down WAY too fast IMHO.

In CS all sources of lights are dynamic, and in combination with volumetric dynamic lights, it's a huge performance killer. For fully dynamic light/shadows system all sources of lights must be dynamic. Quote:

Loved the first CoJ. Uninstalled the new one after 10 mins. So glad I didn't buy this POS. Think how Far Cry compared to FC2... same deal with this game- generic, consolitized mess. Next...
