If you hate how Vista disables transparency when the window is maximized (unlike Windows 7) then this cool little system patching program is the key. Once installed and configured, transparency will be on even when maximized.

Been using it ever since they supported SP2 for Vista. It's the most painless way to modify your .dll files without borking your system.

Screenshots of this in action? I can't find any on the website.....
So this just adds transparency when your window in maximized? I don't get why you want that....what if you have two windows maximized....will you see the top bar of the bottom on from the top one? I guess that will make it like Windows 7 which doesn't lose the transparency when you maximize....

I just uninstalled this, for some reason it was making my PC hang for 30secs when re-logging in from the welcome screen after the screensaver had been on. :
