I'm actually tempted to preorder a second copy of Windows 7 HP upgrade since its so cheap...

At the very least I could sell it on ebay for $100+ if I don't need it.

I am trying to get this figured out .I have Vista Ultimate 64bit.I was going to order Windows 7 Professional ,So it will not work on my vista Ultimate.Want they have Windows 7 Professional later on being sold as OEM like vista and half the price like vista.Plus with the virtual XP ,can I be running windows 7 Professional 64bit and be able to run windows XP 32bit in Virtaul mode.

yes, OEM copies will be out later, and yes if you want to perform an actual upgrade then you will need windows 7 ultimate.

Sure hope the clean install/upgrade trick works. Microsoft better not fix that lol

Offer starts on the 15th over here.

But I dont get ,Theres no Euro upgrade version but you have to have a legit windows Vista / Xp to be eligible for the half price offer..

Do I have to lose my Vista to install the 7?

Like when you upgrade the upgraded from OS's liscense is no longer valid...Does that apply to this?
I may decide to translate that sentence into English sometime

I wish I would have gotten the HP upgrade for my laptop. Only way it will run Win7 now is if they have another deal :P.
