Some that had the original dual-PCB 295 complained about microstuttering under 30fps. Since the single PCB uses the same components except on a single-PCB, I am guessing that it has the same problem. I am also aware not everyone notices it, and that most SLI/Crossfire/etc setups will have it.
For those that are sensitive to microstuttering and also has a single-PCB 295, how does it fare in this dept? Would like to get some first-hand reports despite my common sense conclusion.

I really don't think there's any difference. It's a problem common with any SLI set up.

to be correct, its a problem common to all Multi-GPU setups.

MS was somewhat of an issue for me with 7 and 8 series sli but I can't say I've noticed any happening on the 295 (dual pcb). Even in Crysis I can't say I've noticed it and its probably the only game I have that pulls the card into the 20 fps range. I say stick with the 285 for now if you are happy with it and see what comes down the pipe

Many of the "microstuttering" reports can be attributed to a smaller framebuffer size. Personally, I do not notice it on the 295's.

Me neither, I have not seen any Microstuttering with my 295's and I have TRI SLI GTX285's also well. And I like my 295's setup much better but that is my personal opinion.

It was somewhat apparant with the 9800GX2's, but I think that was more attributed to the smaller FB size.
