Hi
I am running a ASUS M3N-H/HDMI motherboard which has a nvidia 8300 IGP using driver version 180.60. Looking at Powermizer settings it only shows one performance level "0" with NV Clock of 500MHz. Is this correct, is this IGP not capable of frequency scaling or is there something wrong with my settings. Thanks |

Well,
For some mysterious reason IGP type of chips are threaten by nv with "different" approach... I asked them about some bugs with nvidia-settings utility on my 8200 IGP - total silence. After reading this board for some time, I see nv is reacting quite quickly and efficiently if You are asking for help/bugfixing with high-end hardware. IGP is on the opposite. I even understand this, as enabling OC on IGP's will definitely cannibalize sales on low ends like 8400GS etc. Still awaiting for fixing nvidia-settings bug prohibiting me OC my 8200 IGP.... br |
