Question Cloning Low Level Graphics on two Twin head cards

Cloning Low Level Graphics on two Twin head card

I have two twin head NVidia DVI graphics cards that I have running on RedHat Enterprise 4 - 64 bit Linux workstation.

- The first card is an NVS 285 that outputs to two Samsung SyncMaster 940B 19 inch LCD monitors.

- The second card is an NV 5200 that outputs to a second PC that has an Xtreme RGB twin DVI input frame grabber, to be used as a screen capture device, so we can make screen recordings using Camtasia Studio running on Windows XP.

They work fine, except for the low level graphics of a custom built application and the mouse pointer. i.e. everything else gets replicated on the second card to be fed into the capture PC except the low level custom graphics and mouse pointer.

Could there be any way around this by setting xorg.conf appropriately ? Or is this beyond the ability of xorg.conf to handle ? and thus really needs addressing some other way, such as in the graphics application code itself ?

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks,
David
