RivaTuner v2.24 - 9800GTX+ SSC

I just put a 9800GTX+ SSC Edition in my system. I ran RivaTuner v2.24 but didn't see a way to monitor the Fan Speed or Ambient Temperature. Does anyone know how I enable them?

Also, since my motherboard is only PCI Express 1.0 how much performance am I giving up by not having a PCI Express 2.0 board?

I guess I run into strange problems. I could enable both the Ambient Temperature and Fan Speed for the 8800GTS I had before. I thought maybe I just forgot how to do it.
