I don't know about viruses...because I never used a torrent for W7, but a download from usenet. The last time, when I downloaded 7229, there was one message warning about the fact that there were some downloads which contained alot of malware, so I'm still running 7000. Yet, I wonder if that is the reason for some of the problems that I'm having with W7 now?

it does nag, but not on every reboot, plus it is only a baloon notification that goes away.

So how do you get the final cut off of Technet?

i did the betas and rtms so does that me i qualify?

Isn't technet id the same as the .net or hotmail id?

So if i logged into the site using my hotmail.com account than how do i really get the technet account.
