utorrent issue

everytime a dl starts to pick up speed in utorrent my internet connection poops out
didnt do this on vista or xp

nope. its only on win 7. on my macbook pro it doesnt do it. nor did it do it on xp before i put 7 on

Firewall issues? Is the correct port opened/forwarded?

Have you tried another client?

correct port is opened

try turning on the TCP connection limit, this limit was removed in win7, but it can still be turned back on.

your router propbably can't take the ammount of connections being opened.

i followed the guide but it must be off, the guide that is. because it doesnt really correspond with win7

it does correspond to win7, MS just haven't updated their KB to win7, since win7 is not technically released yet.

There may be a possibility that the drivers for the NIC are flaky? Just throwing that possibility out there.
