I have also heard such things. When i mildly overclocked my old AMD, I went through bios.

No I have not used it apart from checking the vcore in windows with it. I only overclock in the bios. I don't really don't trust Windows Motherboard overclocking apps.

would you mind posting your settings for me?

I am thinking to start overclocking soon but i want to leave core voltage as low as possible when i start.

OK, Reseated my HeatSink and now on Stock with 8 threads of Prime running im avg about 59C-64C, Does that sound right?

Stock speeds right? Mine topped out at 65 i believe with prime.

Just saw this post, Was afraid that I was having vcore issues because im hitting 3.8 easily at 1.25. Haven't tried 4Ghz yet in fear of temps mainly...

What are your temps meth?

ok, im confused now... I raised my vcore to 1.3 since I became unstable at 3.8ghz during prime and cpuz nor does easytune show that change, both show 1.264.
