Default Crainger Can't Play Risen Either...

Australia, otherwise known the land of the pure, has refused another game classification, effectively banning it in its present form. No word on a censored version versus a lack of release, and if the censored version will also be released in the land of the almost as pure, The United States, where one assumes it could obtain the dreaded AO rating.

No reasons were initially given why the game has been banned Down Under. Kotaku Australia contacted Risen's Australian distributor Madman Interactive and were told that the country's Classification Board felt the game contained "sexual activity and drug use related to incentives or rewards."

Madman Interactive has yet to decide whether it will appeal this decision or release an edited version for a 15-years-old-and-up rating.
Were the original Fallout games banned in the AU? 'Cause you can screw people for benefits all the way through that game.

It is legal to import games that were refused classification, right?
