Sorry double post:
I noticed while playing this demo that it uses OpenGL... does OpenGL work properly in SLI? I'm still boggling at the performance as I think this game should run better than it did.

Game ran at 50 fps for me at 1680x1050 no AA but full detail minus the occlusion stuff.

Not bad, really, for a more budget processor and a 2 generation old card. What is the performance issue for you, Kaguya?

Very High and High both had about the same 30fps. Medum and below it shot up to 60fps immediately. I just have a feeling that SLI and OpenGL isn't working properly. I'll try it again tonight and fool around with some settings, but I think my system should be able to destroy this game! ![]()

I'm pretty sure it was already said the game only uses one GPU... and you have the same Q6600 processor. It's odd the Physx did nothing for you, but then the second GPU was used for it and is not being used for anything else with it off.
I'll know more tomorrow when I can play the demo.

If multi-GPU isn't supported, would turning SLI off put all the PhysX stuff onto the 2nd GPU, or would it do nothing? What about SLI-AA? I guess I could try that too to maybe. It's just unfortunate because loads of other better looking games perform so well and this was a lot more fun than I wanted to give it credit. At least it was a playable 30fps.

Well, I tried it again this time without the AFR SLI setting in nHancer and the game ran significantly faster!
This time I was able to run it at 1920x1200, 4xAA, 8xAF PhysX on HIGH and I was getting between 40 and 50 most of the time. When there is no nVidia profile, I believe it defaults to a single card, but I could be wrong... either way, definitely playable this way.

The game looks meh... (not visually, just the whole concept, gameplay clips etc.) Is it actually any good?

I thought it was ok, although kind of average in game presentation, bad in story presentation (it's a cliché cannon), but the concept is cool IMO and the graphics is half-good. The movement/weapon physics or feeling is pretty good except in the very beginning where I had some sort of choppyness when looking around with the mouse i.e. it wasn't smooth and not just the framerate's fault.
If they can improve AI and it gets to a 10$ pricepoint, I'd consider it, although I definitely won't give full price for this game in it's current state. The demo was worth trying for me though.

If only there were some sort of program you could download that would allow you to run a portion of the game to make up your own mind.
