Question Installing nvidia 64bits on a 32bits system

Hi,

I have a 32bits system (Debian Lenny) on my laptop, but I have other one with 64bits system.

To compile a kernel, I do that on my 64bits system and install in my 32bits system.

So, I have this situation in my laptop:
Kernel = 64bits
System = 32bits

Now, I would like to know how can I do the same with nvidia driver, because I think that is impossible compile nvidia driver (64bits) in a 32bits system, right?

Unless something has changed, that isn't possible. I read it somewhere (but I cannot remember where) in Nvidia's FAQ.

Just out of curiosity, why do you have a 64-bit kernel but a 32-bit userland?
