Win 7 Pro out on MSDNAA

Just got my semester info and it seems the Pro version is available on MSDNAA. Both 32 and 64bit versions available for download.

Ditto, got it last week. I believe you can install Windows 7 Professional on both computers (PC and laptop). You have to contact your school's Program Administrator to obtain 2nd CDkey.

I just downloaded another copy. Didn't ask me anything it just gave me the key. Of course mine is through ieee membership so that may be different.

well actually I did a 32 bit copy and a 64 bit copy so I'm not sure either

You will get a different key for each version you download. 32bit has its own and 64 has its own. Once they release a SP1 version that one will have its own key as well.

difference in what?

MSDNAA =MSDN Academic Alliance is just MS software for college students that are enrolled in specific classes

The Windows 7 Ultimate that I'm running now that I got off of MSDNAA had the "RC" included in the title of the download and the "Evaluation Copy Build 7100" shows up in the corner on my desktop.

This Windows 7 Pro download does not have the "RC" in the title. Not sure if that means this is the real deal rather than just another evaluation copy but I guess I'll be finding out very soon.

I'll post back once it's installed.

I don't see it on my campus's site. I don't know if we have an Academic Agreement with MS or not.
