Disabling Quick lists?

Is there any way to disable quick lists? (In case I'm using the wrong term, I'm referring to the file lists attached to the left click on each icon pinned to the task bar)

Just wondering....

Yeah, I tried that and it has no effect. It says on GPEdit that it's only compatible with Vista

I increased the mouse-over time to 4 secs

That "virtually" gets rid of it but I still know it's there, lol.

Hmm. you are correct, but I noted that the comment in the left pane under requirements says "at least Windows Vista" in the article, but "Windows Vista only" in the version that I'm currently using (B7100). Perhaps that will change when the RTM is installed.
