downloading off steam it was at 55% and then it said "100% ready" and now im at 0% again

It means 0% of the remaining... when it starts a download over the percentage resets, but you keep the previous files.

This is the game most people on Steam seem to have bought though, because while Batman and Red Faction downloaded super fast, RE5 is going slow.

So am I insane or is this one of the most amazing looking games ever? I seriously think it is near-Crysis quality.

The controls are a God-send... still more cumbersome than they should be considering the action pace, but I can strafe? I can access equipment extremely fast? Hotkeys for healing? My God, I might finish this game, I could never finish RE4.
