make a shortcut and add -dx9 at the end of the target field.

people have had issues with the sound. Im using Realtek with the latest drivers without a problem. if you are using realtek sound card / onboard, make sure you have the latest drivers.

EDIT - geez, realtek sound drivers up to 2.33 now, updated yesterday

Yeah, I read that. Doesn't work. Doesn't work for anyone on any forum I visit.

It is very fun... framerate is a little rough, but nowhere near as bad as Saint's Row. Lots of good graphical enhancements over the console version.

I would be loving it a lot more if two better games hadn't dropped on the same day.

Agreed. Hard to enjoy all these great games @ the same time!! Saints Row 2 actually runs pretty good now in Windows 7. There is that "moves too fast bug" but for me I love SR2 now. It runs about 60 FPS but flies now lol.

I've been meaning to reinstall SR2 and see how it runs now.

Saints Row 2 actually runs very good. I haven't had any framerate related issues with it. Perhaps that's because I bought the game when a patch was already released and had a Core i7 / GTX 280 SLI system to play it with.

There is a way to get SLI working as explained in this GURU3D post. Haven't tried it yet, but will try it when I get home.
