You need to call the number on the bottom of the second linked page to order Windows 7 Professional.

Perhaps at some point I will buy a retail copy, but $29.99 for Professional is way too good of a deal to pass up.

No, you just have to click the link by where it says "Need to join you school's network domain? Click here."

Then you can add it to your cart just like Home Premium. No phone call necessary.

EDIT: I see now you're talking about the direct link to the Microsoft Store, not the Win741 site (which is also run by MS). Not sure why anyone would do that, though.

Try to find it. The link isn't there anymore for Need to join. I think they removed that.

??? I just click on the "Buy" pane and it takes me to the page to enter my college email address. They email you the link, and it takes you to the page with the purchase options. It looks exactly like that post I linked to.

I just clicked the buy link and it took me to a page where I needed to enter a college email address and re enter it to confirm no option for joining.

Yes, that's how it works.

You enter your college e-mail address.
They send an email to that address with a link to the webpage where you can buy it (it looks like the picture in the post I linked to).
On that page you can click the link that says "Need to join you school's network domain? Click here."
This takes you to the page where you can buy Pro instead of Home Premium.

No, just place two orders separately. I have both HP and Pro pre-ordered. The FAQ says you can order a copy of each.

There's already a thread on this in the Open forum where everything is detailed.
