There are drops when a whole building comes down. I've tried Windowed mode and I still get the drops at times. Its like its still calulating the physics from all the stuff even after its collapsed. Like in the physx demos where its calulating physx on the objects even before you interact with them.
I have never used a trainer in my life, and I have the same drivers, so it is something else causing the speed issue.

There are some missions in this game that are about impossible. Once you are detected there are literally hundreds of guys that keep coming. I had to use a trainer for one part I replayed 20+ times, I was tried of dying lol.

2) It runs better in a window... WHA? Haha... I was on the forum and saw an FAQ thread and to the complaint "RFG runs slow when buildings collapse" there was a tip to "try running in a window". I tried it, and I swear my FPS skyrockets 20+ frames in a window... not even joking. I went from 30-35 average to 40-50 average, and no significant drops when destroying things. If I can get that performance windowed, it should be amazing fullscreen when they fix the issue.

So, needless to say, I am waiting on a patch. Weird.
another two issues

1) sound is still mest up, volume control for specific sounds don't work. enviromental sounds are often louder can't hear voices when people speak. supposelly running it in stereo fixes the issue.

2) Live is always signed out, when you start the game. have to manually sign in every time.

Ive seen other people with the same sound issue. Cant say I have it as mine seems fine. What sound card are you using Nekro?

I force 8X in every game I play. It makes a huge difference at 1920x1080. I haven't noticed a 150% game speed increase. What does it look like? Is it because of vsync being off? I always force vsync on with triple buffering (when available).

Some people said forcing v-synch stopped the fast gameplay, but it didn't work for me. As for how it looks, just imagine the enemies running so fast they almost seem to teleport. Also, the car handling is very sensitive due to the speed increase. It's playable, but I would say barely.

Other than that crazy sensitivity issue with driving and using cannons (frustrating to aim sometimes because of how sensitive it is) I'm having good fun with the game.

My main issue is with structures, debris and even people disappearing and reappearing if I move the camera around rapidly. For example, say there is a tower in front of you and then you turn the camera around..then turn it back where the tower is. The tower will be gone for a second and then appear out of nowhere. Really odd at times. I'm using the latest ati drivers (cat 9.9), dx10 with all settings on/high, vista 64.

I'll try that windowed trick and see if I get a performance boost.

edit: Playing in windowed mode just about eliminated all the pop in issues. weird how many of the graphic issues are solved by playing in windowed mode. No big deal though I hope they fix it.

I just started playing this game. Is there any way to zoom out a little bit? It feels way to zoomed in for me.
