Default graphical artefacts

Hello,

when I start my X session under opensuse 11.1 x86_64 with KDE 4.3 I'll get a lot of graphical artefacts just before the login mask appears. This artefacts looks like graphical fragments of application from former sessions.

The graphic card is nvidia GTX260, the installed driver is
x11-video-nvidiaG02-185.18.36-7.1
nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-default-185.18.36_2.6.27.29_0.1-6.1

I have the same problem as other machine with nvidia GTX285 and different mainboard.

Do anybody have a idea what's going on here and how to avoid this?

Herbert

korrection:
