Default Distorted S-Video Output

Hello, I am using an old computer with an nvidia 6200 as a media center, with Ubuntu 9.04 as the OS. I use the 190.36 driver. I connect the computer to my regular tube television with an s-video cable, and the output is fine, except for one problem: The image is noticeably caved in on the sides. The most interesting thing is that the degree of the distortion changes when there is a change to the image (i.e. a window is opened or closed). The problem occurs at any resolution, including 640x480. My TV works fine, and the card outputs the image properly when using Window$. Are there any settings that I can tweak to calibrate the output or do I just wait for a driver update and hope its fixed? (I have not tested previous drivers yet)
