I cannot get Xinerama to work.
I have Ubuntu 9.04 64bit with the nvidia 185.18.14 driver with 2 video cards. PCI-e GF-8400 GS and a PCI GF-6200. Using nvidia-settings I am able to set three monitors as separate X screens or two monitors on Twinview and and 1 separate X screen. When I enable Xinerama GDM freezes on boot. There are no errors reported in the xorg.0.log file. Any suggestions? Thanks. this is works - but no xinerama: xorg.conf Code:

Please submit an nvidia-bug (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=46678) log so that we can see where the error is occurring. This sounds like the same problem as

Same problem here with Fedora11 + 6200TC (PCIe) and 8200 (PCIe integrated).
